Twenty-five Words for March 2010

Here's a writing exercise that I like from my old Brown Bag group. It's called "Twenty-five Words." The object is to try to write a children's short story or picture book using as many of the twenty-five words (or short phrases) as possible. This is also a timed prompt, so set your timer for 20 or 30 minutes and then begin.

Here are the words:

It is true. Really.
Bubbly
Big eye
Cool
Winner
Sweet cow
Gloves
Run, run, run
Faster
Bulldog
Pepper
Roll away
Guitar
Clang
Clatter
Rustle
Crisp
Dark
What was that
Pineapple
Sunlight
Echo
Kiss
Everywhere
I can see you
